Stellar Studio Founder and Creative Director Annina Walker

Hi!

Thank you for reading my story. I founded Stellar Studio in October 2023 to fill a gap in my own wardrobe. I was looking for versatile, high-quality essentials with unique details I could mix and match, but couldn't find exactly what I envisioned. This sparked the idea to create accessible, timeless fashion that unites quality, individuality, and modern design. Stellar Studio is a fashion brand based in Zurich, Switzerland. We're driven by a vision to redefine wardrobe essentials—combining bold, distinctive details with subtle colors and an uncompromising commitment to quality. We create sophisticated, versatile, and modern fashion that fits seamlessly into your dynamic life, helping you express your individuality while maintaining elegance and practicality.I hope you'll join us on this journey of creating a modern luxury brand!

Warmly, Annina

Longevity

Each piece from Stellar Studio is crafted to be worn and cherished for years. We devote equal attention to both the inside and outside of every garment, with meticulously finished seams that withstand an active lifestyle.

Our commitment to timeless design extends beyond seasonal trends, ensuring each piece remains relevant year after year. This philosophy is reflected in our choice of premium materials and dedication to exceptional craftsmanship throughout the production process.

Value

For us, luxury isn't defined by logos or price tags—it's about a product's true value: exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful care, and unwavering integrity, combined with genuine respect for our customers. We aim to provide high-quality pieces at fair prices that serve both our customers and our makers.

Transparency

Transparency is essential to us—we want you to have complete information about how our products are made and what they cost when you invest in our brand. In today's world, "sustainability" has often become an empty buzzword rather than a meaningful commitment, while constant discounting has skewed our perception of true product value. That's why we focus not only on sharing our practices openly but also on helping our customers understand these crucial issues.

Sustainability

Let's be clear: we don't label ourselves as a sustainable brand. There are no regulations governing the term "sustainable," which means any brand can claim sustainability regardless of their practices. Instead, we choose transparency about our efforts. Achieving true sustainability in fashion is a complex challenge—one that demands extensive research, resources, expertise, and time. While we actively work toward this goal, we acknowledge that we have much to learn and improve. We care deeply about our impact on the environment, our factory workers, and our customers. Here's where we currently stand on our ongoing journey of education and improvement:

European Production

We strive to collaborate with small businesses that excel in their craft, believing in mutual support and fostering a community of sharing. Our garments are produced in Milan,Italy, which allows us to conduct in-person quality checks and fittings. This close proximity builds strong relationships with our production partners and ensures the quality meets your expectations. We also embrace new technologies like 3D renderings in our initial sampling process to minimize fabric waste. The short transportation routes between Italy and Switzerland help us maintain a low carbon footprint.

Small Quantities

We release only limited editions and then reproduce the styles that generate the most demand. This strategy helps us prevent overproduction. We assess demand closely to meet it as accurately as possible, which is also why we don't participate in seasonal sales.

Buy Less But Better

Instead of following the seasonal collection model, we focus on creating timeless pieces designed to be worn for years. It took us a year to develop our first collection. Releasing large collections that must be sold quickly, often leading to significant discounts just months after launch, goes against our principles. We prefer to take our time to perfect each product and release it only when it’s truly ready.

What’s Next

We are continuously working on making our processes more sustainable and will keep updating you on our progress. We are also open to hear your feedback. If you have any suggestions for what we could do to get one step closer to our goal feel free to reach out to us here.
